A solution to this I've seen in other packages is to have different levels of granularity for help output: - cargo build -h # only core commands - cargo build --help # describes most commands - man cargo-build # a thorough overview of every command with examples
Yep that helps! But in my opinion a part of the problem is that over time we tend to added too many knobs to each command. Some of them should really be separate commands, and some of them maybe shouldn't even exist.
