Hehe, yeah definitely thought about it; it's one of tne of the main reasons I started investigating Rust in the final stretch of my nearform grant. I think it's very feasible to get it working; the resulting binary size is probably small enough too. Are you curious in trying it?
But also worth noting https://github.com/DenisKolodin/yew … exists, which shows pretty well how a similar architecture can fare. I feel it can def be improved upon though; but maybe it's enough for now?

Ohh, yeah a virtual-dom would be really nice! - Also perhaps a standalone html!{} crate would be so good! :D Agree SSR would be amazing; I'm especially excited for being able to compile an app to a lib, and link it to something like Node.js / PHP haha :D
