I'm like not jaded about this at all btw. Just find it really interesting! As a software professional I'm kind of wondering how to preventing this from happening in the software I write. I mean: even Rust can crash if you access a non-existing index for example.
I suspect the only way to solve this is through _rigorous testing_ all the way through. This kind of swings back into quickcheck / proptest again though. But there's probably also something about reusability / modularization I'm thinking. Ghmmm.
