I've found Language Servers finally make that (mostly) just work. What hasn't worked for you?

Rustfmt broke, autocomplete broke again. I still don't know how to make snippets happen :(

YES! That's what I'm hoping for with neovim making the editor backend available as a api for other more "beautiful" editors to use. Imagine VS Code but actually neovim powers the text-editing everywhere (even the menus)
