He asked the district manager what to do if a white customer started being racist and she told him and the black coworkers to just take it

...That’s the sensitivity training they taught? Isn’t this training supposed to specifically help him and the coworker in question? This training sounds like a huge waste of time and money. Like to the point I feel like your company just got scammed.

Sensitivity training itself is a scam. Really, the rule should be for customers, don't be a dick or your ass is out of the store faster than you can say "the customer is always right". For employees it's "don't be a dick or your ass is fired". Simple as.
