And it's only photos I have with her it's doing this with (results truncated b/c personal):pic.twitter.com/h7MTXd3wgo

@jackyalcine Good morning! The fix should be live now: can you check to make sure it's OK on your end?
@yonatanzunger Two photos show up under the term now (for both Gorilla and Gorillas). Sending a DM of image.
@jackyalcine Handing it to the team. Seriously, big thanks for helping us fix this: it makes a real difference.
@jackyalcine Quick update: we shouldn't be making piles with that label anymore, and searches are mostly fixed, but they can still turn up..
@jackyalcine ..photos where we failed to recognize that there was a face there at all. We're working on that issue now.
@yonatanzunger That was one thing I was curious (with obscuring hands over the face and what not).
@jackyalcine Yup. Really interesting problems in image recognition here: obscured faces, different contrast processing needed for different
@jackyalcine skin tones and lighting, etc. We used to have a problem with people (of all races) being tagged as dogs, for similar reasons.
@yonatanzunger so what is the prefered way to send feedback about Photos that is actually read? other than ranting on twitter?
@FernandoMigueI Use "send feedback" in the product. We read that.
@yonatanzunger so I assume the missing "recently uploaded/added" on mobile apps is a feature not a bug?
@FernandoMigueI I'm pretty sure that's a known issue. Team is busy adding features to the newly rewritten app.
@yonatanzunger thanks for the reply. I'll eagerly wait for updates ;-)
@yonatanzunger thanks for jumping on this one. @jackyalcine please continue to flag anything to any of us. Here to help.
@louisgray @yonatanzunger Thanks for getting on this so quickly
@yonatanzunger @jackyalcine Why didn't the dogs and seals match show up in public???
@JahRoland @jackyalcine Not really a huge news story. "Machine learning makes mistake!"
@yonatanzunger @jackyalcine this "bug" just shows how obvious it is that humans are apes, even AI gets it, too bad AI isn't yet PC about it.
@jackyalcine promoting evolutionary theory is a worthy hobby. Denial is beneath us.
