Open-sourcing “Baby AGI”, a paired down version of the “Task-Driven Autonomous Agent” at 105 lines of code.
Three task agents (execution, creation, prioritization) work in harmony… forever.
Conversation
This is based on the autonomous agent I shared last week, same set up.
I removed all complexity (, NLA) so people can add those back in the way they see fit.

The latest demos I’ve shared are using this code. Even without actions, very powerful.
Like w the original code and research paper, the README was written by GPT4 - so apologies for any mistake. (I did review but…)

I struggle to read others’ code (not a great dev I know), so I tried to make this as easy to understand as possible.
Any suggestions are welcome!

Also, for those of you don’t know, I run a VC firm by day and would love to hear what you’re building!
(Repo name is a cheeky nickname based on reaction to original agent. I am not claiming this is AGI.)

Warning: This will run forever and eat up your OpenAI bill. Just make sure not to do that, ever.
Personally I’m using a free Repl and not using “Always On”, which seems to work as a back stop (I did forget to turn off once, this stopped it).

Well, it’s been a wild launch to say the least… this thread covers my experience over the last few weeks.

Friend: How's it going?
Me: Are you on Twitter by chance?
Friend: No, why?
Me: Oh man, let me tell you about my last two week...

It’s been 18 days since sharing the “paper” on BabyAGI…
The most exciting to me is what people have started building since then, and the discussions around it!
Check them out
