    It’s interesting to see the differences in how U.K. and US outlets alerted Boris Johnson’s resignation. I appreciated the added context from the American news orgs.

    Not to be a history curmudgeon, but England didn't suffer any type of loss on 7/4/1776. The Treaty of Paris, which ended the Revolutionary War and acknowledged the sovereignty of the States, wasn't signed until 9/3/1783 so... I'll go away now. Ta ta.

    It is 11:53 pm in Moscow. England narrowly avoids a second major loss on the 4th of July.
