    Not to be a history curmudgeon, but England didn't suffer any type of loss on 7/4/1776. The Treaty of Paris, which ended the Revolutionary War and acknowledged the sovereignty of the States, wasn't signed until 9/3/1783 so... I'll go away now. Ta ta.
