This is most awesome because it’s literally rich homeowners on Russian Hill paying for a park so they don’t have to worry about the low incomes moving in. Apparently if you have $25MM you can be seen as pro environment instead of horribly exclusionist...who knew
Since 1958, neighbors fought housing at Francisco Reservoir. This could have been a 1000 units at 50% Affordable Housing, or a Navigation Center, or a 100% Affordable Housing project.
