The guy who called me "Alinsky" as an insult is concerned about ad hominem. Oh well, I suppose it's a much better option than being honest about your right-wing political opinions.

If that all "Alinsky tactics" means then I think you're doing a great job implementing them. We YIMBYs are just want you to leave people alone to do their own thing. It's people like you who are vilifying and blocking those who would build housing.

Do you support YIMBY Action founder’s stated goals of abolishing property and rent?

Are you high? @yimbyaction is - if anything - too libertarian for my tastes. That said, I think private property and rent are useful government policies that ought to be adopted (insofar as they further our social democratic values).

Now, just as there are YIMBYs to the right of me, there are certainly YIMBYs on the far left like @tdfischer_ who want to eventually abolish property. I don't agree with that but it's a big tent and we are happy to work in a coalition for now.
