YIMBY Action

Seems we have 2 housing crises in U.S. One is worsening crisis for low-income renters & exists in many cities. Second is crisis affecting many West and some East Coast cities, that hits up to middle+ income. Housing twitter's priority seems to be latter? (Putting helmet on now.)

Reminds me of a critique from College Republicans in 2003. "Why do you spend all of your time complaining about the US war in Iraq, and not the monstrosity of Saddam? Because you don't care about Saddam's victims!"

Actually™, we didn't bother critiquing Saddam because everyone agreed he was a monster! Other lefties already agree that poverty, inequality, and rent burdens are a big problem, so why bother talking about things where we already agree?
