I’ll believe that when they’ve raised the money for affordable housing. I’ve been hearing that from developers and such for 40 years. Then they vote for people who cut government spending.

We are housing consumers, not developers.

You’re funded by developers. And there’s a reason for that. Unless you prioritize affordable housing, the housing will be market rate. And if you advocate just any old building, it will destroy minority communities.

No, the $3 billion goes to the ballot next year. And we could raise $5 billion a year by ending the state MID. That would be a pot worth having.
