Yes. Which is why we need to change the tax structures so governments don't have these incentives to behave badly. And eventually incorporate into a single regional government.

You asked what we fight for. Those two are long term goals, and necessary to solve the underlying structural problems. What people have done, people can undo. We can do big things, if we try.
