Seems we're skirting around the glaring fact that small houses all over the bay would be "affordable" if rich people had more housing of any kind close to work.

FWIW, I wrote the blog referenced in this article. Definitely not intended as an argument against market rate development. Really more directed at why we should prioritize scarce subsidies for ELI needs over "workforce housing."
