They're proposing some replacement of units, making them ADA compliant, and add more than 100 additional units.

If this remained as is, the incentive would be for the developers to do gut-rehabs to make these "naturally affordable" units into "luxury housing" - as the location is highly desirable. There is nothing to keep this "naturally affordable" housing affordable.

This is why we need lots of means-tested, genuinely Affordable Housing.

They want to build a school, and then offer it to a graduate school. They tried to partner with a school, but Marin won't let them customize the plan to a schools needs. Now a Commissioner wants them to have a graduate school in advance. But won't let them customize the plan...pic.twitter.com/agVva9NBmc

These hearings can be so depressing. They take place for hours and hours in the middle of the day, when only those with means can engage.

If the only housing you propose is housing that won't get built, then you don't get credit for being pro-housing.

If your primary arguments are about Traffic, then you don't get credit for being pro-housing.
