It's fascinating where they draw their class warfare line. Not workers vs. management; not rich vs. poor; not land owner vs renter.
It's one type of renter vs a slightly wealthier renter. Can't we do better than that?

I think deep down they hate any new non-rent controlled (post-1978) housing and are willing to drive away renters to block it
