Cupertino Housing Element Plan A includes the Vallco units. But they're considering switching to their Contingency Plan B, which is literally a pro-displacement plan. More than 50% of the units they've allocated for low income housing has EXISTING residencies.
Since Cupertino does not have Right to Return or other tenants protections, Plan B will encourage developers to mass evict people in order to build new housing. Either literally nothing will be built, or existing residents will lose their homes. Nice, Cupertino. Nice.pic.twitter.com/LUjII3HhqD
