Discussion about the amendments to #SB50, including the addition of Jobs Rich areas and regions with greater opportunity. MTC wanted to ensure this would reduce vehicle miles travels.
MTC also wanted "greater flexibility" on parking, aka wanted more parking.

The bill has been amended to allow increasing fees on housing in the future. But fees won't be able to grow in the middle of the permitting process.
Now on to discussing THE ENTITY, #AB1487, which will authorize a regional body for Affordable Housing funding measures and spending. #regionalism is key to solving our Bay Area housing crisis.
