Yesterday, four powerful letters were sent to @SenToniAtkins asking her to let the Senate vote on #MoreHOMESthisyear. Let's go through them!
First, Affordable Housers who are banned from building badly needed subsidized housing in exclusionary neighborhoods across the state:pic.twitter.com/cgC6PTRq2i
Second, Labor. Organized labor is a powerful force in Sacramento politics. The trades and the California Federation of Labor are taking the bold action to say SB 50 is a critical part of a comprehensive housing package.pic.twitter.com/DiRf2U8yEP
Third, the @CAREALTORS.
Another one of the most powerful forces in Sacramento, the state-wide Realtors association is throwing in hard for #MoreHOMESthisyear.pic.twitter.com/4n53xsuzTS
The last one is the *SO MANY PEOPLE* letter.
Builders, @AARPCA, business groups, Democratic Clubs, @BayAreaCouncil, employers, @TECollab, and of course all these lovely pro-housing YIMBY groups, all asking for real action this year.
