If this was proposed in the Sunset, in the Marina, in the Richmond, in Forest Hills... we would see exactly the same thing. The process is broken. It gives those with money, time and political savvy the ability to get what they want. Why give them this power to abuse process?https://twitter.com/HackneyYIMBY/status/1111442355180036096 …

It's not community process that's the problem, it's those with money, privilege & market profits to protect over community safety, dignity & stabilization. They don't even need community process because all of these things have guaranteed them influence...but u already know that.

How do you plan to reform the "community process" so that those with money and influence don't bend that process to their will? The current process favors those with time, money and access. If you think there is a baby, how will you get it out of the bathwater?

If community could stop tech and development companies from donating to groups like you or against progressive campaigns, that would be a great start. In the meantime, after over a decade of grassroots activism & affordable housing work, I'm still down to keep going. Don't be mad

What work for either funding or faster permitting have you done for Affordable Housing? Seems like a decade of legislating would be long enough to get rid of CEQA lawsuits for Affordable Housing, make it by right, or remove other obstacles.
