Seems to me Nellie was acknowledging that the SF housing market is currently one of scarcity. Which is currently true.

Agreed. My critique is not that her analysis is wrong, but rather that it is incomplete w/r/t housing shortages. As a story about the preferences of the "new money" that will be arriving into the Bay Area, it's an enjoyable read.
