Kinda funny, only Utah, with 347 units per 1,000 population, ranks below CA at 358. No coincidence that UT is also 1st in the nation for avg household size (3.13), and CA 3rd (2.98)

altho probably for differing reasons... UT's is voluntary (families want more kids), CA's involuntary (kids have to live w their parents longer)
