i’ve got no problem with change. it’s the rigidity against change, the orthodoxies of ideologies, the sheer cynicism and self-interest masquerading as democracy in action that continues to exacerbate the crises.
Appreciate the sentiment, but want to add a little nuance. YIMBYs and urbanists should allow anyone who wants to change to clamber on our bandwagon without retribution. i’m careful to note that we need to get *past* what has held up the necessary change, and not get sidetracked with stocks and pillory. still it’s 2019 and high time to make progress.
