Totally agree. It isn't built on Twitter. It happens when people meet and speak with one another. The door is always open. We could all have a productive dialogue and build that trust over time. Whenever you're ready. -L

this might piss off *everyone* on this thread but I actually think trust *is* built on twitter sometimes. Which means if someone distrusts you, then you can't necessarily blame twitter for that!

For example, if you tweet out statements that can be easily contradicted by video and twitter search, you will, um... not earn trust.

it’s incredibly condescending to insult orgs in communities of color for years and then invite them to your party like everything’s okay to make yourself look good. if you don’t get that, then no meeting is gonna help you.
