@jorge_guajardo I also read AI Superpower and The Second Mahine Age a few months back. I thought second machine age was more educational, but AI superpower has more of a China angle for those interested in the US-China AI race.

The more I learn about AI, the more I’m convinced the future is in the humanities. My son wants to be a broadway actor, and I say, “go for it”. They won’t be replaced by AI.
Actually, think long term will be fine. It’s the transition period that will be brutal. So while you will be retired with a book on the beach, I’m thinking in 5-10 yrs, my generation will be hit hard—perfect formula for a midlife crisis.
