Saw #CrazyRichAsians on the plane. Ugh, I do not understand the hype. An okay romantic comedy with nice stereotypical Asian scenery, a film to critical acclaim it was not.

it was certainly not. And dumpling party...? C’mon, cliche as f. It may have an Asian cast, the target audience is decidedly western. No wonder it flopped in China.

Not to mention no Indian presence in the film BUT it’s the first of its type to get success. Means an appetite and better films to come.
