Vita CPU clock speed is 333MHz by default and ranges 41-444MHz by PMC. GPU 111MHz and ranges 41-222MHz. Thanks to xyz for the tests.

@yifanlu maybe only in the main menu? Psp ran slower in the XMB.

@yifanlu sure it does. If it was a 2d puzzle game or rpg, that's different than killzone

@NeoTechni like I said, it doesn't matter. The kernel doesn't contain games based on what they do.

@yifanlu if it's like psp, games can change the speed at will.

@NeoTechni that's why I gave a range. Default is 333MHz regardless of game. You can go up to 444MHz if you want.

@undressweeks that's the limit for Cortex A9. Sony chooses to under clock it. Likely for battery reasons.

@VZekro but clock speed isn't the whole story. Cache speeds, pipeline, etc affects the CPI.

@yifanlu Excuse me, some sceptics are pondering whether or not that's just the FSB speed. Could you please clarify if possible?

@yewles1 no. It is the CPU speed all games run and are limited to. FSB speed is 55-222 MHz.

@yifanlu Is it normal speed or PSM sandboxed? If that's normal then I see false advertising (4x2.0 GHz cores).

@Lucif3r945 each core runs at 333MHz. There's no such thing as clock speed for "all cores". You don't add them up, they're independent.
