Mr. Brooks, if you’re looking in history for someone famous who agrees with an idea you have, and you find it’s Hitler, don’t brag about it. And if you’re sitting around casually reading Mein Kampf, don’t brag about it. Kind of makes you look like a Nazi.

As a German I'm appalled by that quote. "Mein Kampf" was censored in Germany for good reason. To use it on the US house floor calling it Socialism when in fact it was Nationalism is mind-blowing!!

Nazis were fascists. Fascism is a far right wing ideology. The Nazi economy was capitalist: private ownership fueled far right wing/nationalist/white supremacist/militarist ideologies aimed at conquering & subjugating the world. Economy was secondary to this— Hitler's end game.
