Become a better communicator overnight: - Replace every “but” you can with an “and” - Never start a sentence with “no” or “disagree” - Only give feedback if there’s a chance it will be implemented - Tell people you will be late before you are late - Bias to overcommunicating

When the client says “just do your thing” instead of giving a clear brief, confirm by asking, “so are you saying that whatever I do, you’ll just love? No questions asked?” If not, we should have a conversation about your expectations and goals.

Interviewer: How do you explain this 4 year gap on your resume? Me: That’s when I went to Yale. Interviewer: That’s impressive. You are hired. Me: Thanks. I really need this Yob.

1/ Ever seen a company where customers loved the product but the company STILL failed? Over 10 years I’ve seen this way too many times. It’s caused me to question whether the importance product market fit is a myth. Check this out 👇

A typical website used to fit on a floppy disk 💾 Now, a typical website fits on something as tiny as a micro SD card 🔬 Technology is amazing

From my talk on creativity for teens: "My least favorite word is Talent. Talent implies that you are born to do something. Fuck that. You can do whatever you want. You can be whoever you want. And if anyone tells you otherwise tell them to call me and I’ll tell them to fuck off"

Remember, when you are dead, you do not know you are dead. It is only painful for others. It’s the same when you use tabs and not spaces.

One thing that really frustrates me are (some) senior devs that forget where they started from. You have to beg for them to guide/help you. If you ever become a senior dev, don't forget where you started from!

The bar is not as high as you think. You can: - get that job - meet that person - start that company But because you think the bar's so high, you won't even try. Which is why the bar’s so low!

🤔 Just wondering what's the programming language you folks used to build your or similar online platforms with? 👨‍🏫 Feel like I'm open to learn a new programming language for future projects now. 👀 What's your recommendation?

How to get more motivated to build projects? Build something you'd use. It doesn't have to be the next Facebook. It could be a simple app that makes your life easier. Example: A NodeJS app that sends you the daily weather.

People are over-the-moon for , and I'm a fan of the movement. Reducing complexity a much as possible when building or maintaining anything should be applauded. 👏👏👏 But, what are the best examples of actual, working web or mobile apps that are no-code powered?
