When I said that racism is a safeguarding issue, I wasn’t playing. A 14 year old boy was punched and kicked, read that again, by TWO police officers who went on to lie about the attack. Our black youth are not safe, here at the hands of the police.

they make things (like ear plugs, noise cancelling headphones) for people to tune out loud noises in public. i am very sensitive to noise and i would never be on a plane or a train or even a sidewalk without them. babies can’t stop crying, you *can* anticipate your sensory needs.
