My reaction to @TeamYouTube banning accounts for using emojis during live-streams:
How many thousands of people will be affected by this? How and when will this be fixed? (1/9)
Their entire account is just gone. Because they used an emoji. And @TeamYouTube ‘s response to this? “There’s nothing we can do.” Then why make that system in the first place??? (4/9)

The information which may be there may be something which can affect hundreds and thousands of lives. And you just decide to make a system where someone is banned for using an emoji. An entire account, gone, for a silly little bunch of pixels. And why? (5/9)

So YouTube can test an ai system? So that they can say “don’t blame us, blame automation?” Even though there are people reviewing the claims as to what is happening??? I honestly would like to know
@TeamYouTube as to why this is happening. Many fans do. (6/9)Show this thread -
We’d also like to know if accounts will be unbanned and if so, when? How long will it take? There is a lot more you could be doing, but it seems as if you’re trying to act as if this isn’t happening. You just want to sweep this under the rug (7/9)

And that is not going to happen. I am lucky my accounts (I have two w/separate emails) still exist, but for the thousands of others affected? You just want to act like this didn’t happen? You want to claim that you had no control? We as fans will not let that happen. (8/9)

So,
@TeamYouTube how are you going to fix this?@markiplier has said he is willing to work with you on the issue- because his fans were mostly affected- and his video explains much more than I can in 280 characters. But, how and when will this be fixed? (9/9)Show this thread
