This is shameful Ydanis. This is all about preserving double parking. This is not
#VisionZero. A two-way bike lane creates more conflicts between cars and people on bike. You could've exercised leadership here. Instead you cowardly back the NIMBY calls of the "biz community"
Our office advise to attend the next community board meeting to raise your concerns. This proposal by the community board, not by our office, is better that the original proposal of removing both bike lanes. Leadership is listening and respecting the hard work our CB12 members do

I very much appreciate that the CM has always supported bike lanes here. I apologize for demanding the highest of standards. When I read articles like this: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/15/opinion/there-are-better-ways-to-get-around-town.html … it just saddens me that we don't have that here. We can and should.
