Dyckman Street’s brand new bikeway appears safe for the moment, but @galeabrewer @RepEspaillat + turncoat Dem @NY31Alcantara are still dead set on returning it to the bad old days.https://nyc.streetsblog.org/2018/05/09/dot-doesnt-plan-to-rip-out-dyckman-street-protected-bike-lanes-for-now/ …
Our office is not calling for any removal. It is only a proposal, better than removing the entire bike lanes which our office strongly opposed. Once again, CB12 members are doing public hearings on this issue since 2008. Our office will continue listening to all residents.

Are you citing a decade of public hearings on a single short bike lane as a good thing or a bad thing?

The options on the table are: remove the bike lane or keep the bike lane. It’s clear which side your office is on.

Sorry, but that's obfuscation. And having hearings for 12 years is a failure of government, not an accomplishment. I'm honestly disappointed in you. I thought you were better than this.
