Please stop promoting these protests. Give the bike lanes time. People need to get used to change. It took 9 years to get them in. They shouldn’t be undone in mere months.

Our office has been a supportive on making this city more walkable, our office is been fighting against other electeds who really want to rip out the bike lanes from Dyckman and move to another streets. We are talking about alternatives to keep it in Dyckman, others electeds not

It took over 1/2 a year for the Northern Blvd bike lane "outrage" to die down. Now business as usual WITH the bike lane.

I live in Inwood, I bike to work, and it's not safe for me to ride on Dyckman without a protected lane. Please stop reacting to business owners' unfounded fears and think about your constituents' lives at risk.

I also live in Inwood and commute by bicycle. I've been hit by 6 cars in over the years. Bike lanes are essential for a safe, environmentally responsible city.
