  The #DyckmanBikeLanes as originally planned make Dyckman and surrounding streets safer for cyclists and pedestrians & directly connect #Inwood and rest of northern Manhattan to Hudson & Harlem River bike paths: good result of a decade of community consultations & traffic study

  Please keep the protected bike lanes on both sides of Dykeman! They make the street much safer for cyclists and pedestrians. They are not the problem! Crazy double parking existed long before they did.

  Please give these bike lanes a chance, @ydanis and @GaleBrewerNYC. They just went in, but have already helped in making my commute feel safer as I head from Inwood to Harlem. Look for more direct solutions to double parking issues; keep pedestrians and cyclists' safety paramount.
