Well, you don't want to start busing students to schools outside their district. The issue is that many NYC neighborhoods are segregated, yes, even after all of these years. Start there.

You want to have that discussion that start with districts that have championed the cause for years. Creating choice is not an option bc choice self segregates. All council members need to speak to parent leaders before you come up with ideas.
