Good point. It's been several days including a weekend and 1/3 of the cars on my block haven't moved yet. We shouldn't be giving up this much public space for free parking. (And I'm one of the rare car owners in Manhattan)

When cars are stuck in snow it is more obvious than when they are not. In fact, when there is no snow cars barely are moved too.

Also, most streets are empty of cars the vast majority of the time. Sort of like the bike lanes. So let’s bury that “who uses the bike lanes” in the ground, where it belongs.
