If fare jumpers are adjudicated outside of crim justice system, this misdemeanor wouldn't lead to possible deportation for undoc'd. immigs.

Many fare beaters are the same perps who commit the crimes. Where were you in the 80's & 90's when crime was reduced in the subway?

Bratton and Maples made turnstile jumping a priority. It made the subway safer. U concern for Illegal Aliens is touching but misguided.
