I remain committed to ensure that we support all of our small businesses primarily our immigrant owned mom & pop shops who did not receive the same federal assistance that larger businesses received. These businesses contribute millions into our economy, they deserve to be saved
As I have said before, if we want to help our small businesses now & in the future, we need to create a small business lease program to establish an environment for fair negotiations in the commercial lease renewal process in order to determine reasonable lease terms.
The longer we take to pass the SBJSA bill, the more businesses we’re going to see close their doors for good.
What we need is commitment and determination to save our small businesses. What is taking so long?
