Mr. Rodriguez, the proposed budget seems like a step in the right direction to racial equality, but it doesn’t do enough! This budget is based on misleading numbers & budgetary tricks that do little to help low income communities. Please vote NO until they do better!

Councilman Rodriguez, please consider how funds are being reallocated before voting tonight. Keeping school safety agents in the DOE instead of NYPD perpetuates the problem. And please speak up about the transparency of how the budget is reallocating policing funds
