Will you commit to voting NO on any budget that doesn't cut at least $1 million from the NYPD? If not, how can you say you stand with students and low-income communities?

Will you commit to voting NO on any budget that doesn't cut at least $1 billion from the NYPD, re-investing that money in communities?

So can we count on you to vote NO to any budget that doesn't make $1B of real cuts (no shuffling cops to other agencies, funny math, etc) to NYPD and reinvest that $$ into our community?

Hi Councilman Rodriguez, thank you for speaking up. Now will you pledge to REJECT this budget that we've heard does not cut the NYPD budget by a billion? I saw your statement that generally supports cutting the NYPD budget and I am thankful, but I'd like for you to do more.

Where do you stand on proposed budget? We want reduced head count not accounting tricks where officers are moved to DOE

also.... as a constituent, I will be watching your vote this week on the budget. I hope you follow through on your support of #DefundNYPD and don't vote for a budget unless it ACTUALLY defunds the NYPD and prioritizes education, as you say.
