During these unprecedented times I would like to reinforce my call to create a central payment system for all Transportation Networks.
New Yorkers should have the ability to get on a Bus 
, Train 
, Citi Bike 
, or Ferry

OMNY is designed to work with other systems, just as MetroCard already works with AirTrain and PATH. Expanding OMNY interoperability to regional rail and city ferries would be great! I suspect CitiBike would be very challenging for several technical and legal reasons.

Doesn't have to be, though. On a business trip in Pittsburgh I used their bike share system (for free!) with the system's contactless card. Citibike already works with NYCHA so there's precedent to work with an authority.
