Shelter in Place: Early in March, I called on @NYCMayor and @NYGovCuomo to take action & close NYC down by imposing a curfew of at least 2 wks. The global experience with The #COVID19 pandemic demonstrated that the only defense we have against this plague is physical separation

Mass Testing For All New Yorkers: called on the City to expand our testing capabilities to ensure every New Yorker, who is showing serious signs of the Novel Coronavirus received a free test.

Access To PPE For First-Responders, Social Workers, Essential Workers, and Senior Care Providers: Called on the City to ensure all essential workers, healthcare providers, and first-responders have access to proper protective gear while working and or commuting.

Increase Cleaning Cycles For All Public and Private Residential Buildings, Trains, Buses, and Streets: we demanded that communities in underserved communities received the same care and attention on local train stations and streets as those in higher-income communities.

Including Undocumented NYers within the Stimulus Package: called to continue to fight to ensure that our immigrant brother & sisters were also included within the stimulus package that helped millions of Americans.

Freezing Commercial and Residential Rent: called on the City to impose a temporary Rent Freeze for all small business owners and residential tenants who are currently impacted by Coronavirus restrictions. There is a growing number of employers furloughing or laying off...

...thousands of workers. If New Yorkers cannot work or earn a livable income, many will find themselves unable to afford New York's rent rates and other fundamental necessities.
