Just as the City called for medical practitioners who have retired to volunteer & help hospitals during this time. I am calling on the @MTA to also ask all healthy retired employees to return & help with the current subway overcrowding.https://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2020/04/01/mta-subway-ridership-has-bottomed-yet-trains-are-packed …

He’s not thinking.... He’s asking people 55+ years old to come out in harms way and help an agency that don’t care if they live or die.

This was the dumbest thing I’ve read in my life. The lifetime is already short for retirees.

Another clueless politician many retired MTA Employees are in their mid 50s and maybe older. MTA Employees have the 25/55 pension which means they have to be 55 years old and have 25 yrs of service to retire they dont have the nice pension of FDNY or NYPD where its just 20 1/2

years of service. So you think these retired MTA Employees should come back and service people who didn't appreciate them back then and put their lives at risk now? 2/2
