Yes they should. The bus riders will see improved travel times without their bus stopping on every block. Having stops spaced too closely hurts far more people than it helps.

There's no reason bus stops should be every two blocks, like most currently are. 1/4th or 1/5th of a mile apart would improve reliability and bus speeds.

I take the Q49 often and there are sometimes 2 stops on the same block. It’s silly.

Bus stop consolidation is absolutely critical and must get done, otherwise we're stuck with the status quo of slow buses that stop every other block.
