MTA Should Not Be Removing Bus Station, Especially In Areas That Service Underserved Communities La MTA no debería eliminar la estación de autobuses, especialmente en áreas que atienden a comunidades desatendidaspic.twitter.com/5xuM5iuT2O

Yes they should. The bus riders will see improved travel times without their bus stopping on every block. Having stops spaced too closely hurts far more people than it helps.

There's no reason bus stops should be every two blocks, like most currently are. 1/4th or 1/5th of a mile apart would improve reliability and bus speeds.

Underserved communities should have slow, intermittent bus service?

I take the Q49 often and there are sometimes 2 stops on the same block. It’s silly.

How many more community workshops do we need to have to prove that bus riders overwhelmingly support bus stop removal to speed up service?

Bus stop consolidation is absolutely critical and must get done, otherwise we're stuck with the status quo of slow buses that stop every other block.

it’s faster to walk than travel by bus. removing stops makes the bus a more realistically viable transit option
