Are they nuts???? Why isn’t the MTA using buses to service those areas? This will be more $$$ going into the MTA’s Financial Black Hole. You should be pushing the populous to use mass transit and move away from the car culture.
Livery bases have the capacity and technological competence to fill the gap in service to New Yorkers living in transit deserts as well as Uber and Lyft, and have the added benefit to already have meaningful relationships with the communities in need.pic.twitter.com/eMZ1CencmD

Unfortunately, the disability community has been poorly served by Uber. Their failure to meet wheelchair accessible vehicles. (WAV) requirements should bar them for receiving funds from NYC/NYS.
