I saw two trucks fully driven onto the sidewalk during a 10 minute walk yesterday A photo of this behavior should be enough evidence to suspend drivers' licenses but instead I didn't even bother reporting because I know the police will ignore any reports

Full daylighting of intersections, including unmarked crosswalks is fully within the power of @NYC_DOT. Public pressure from City Council, ignoring the whining of the CBs would go a long way. No bullshit delays for public review.
NYC will never have safe streets as long as lawmakers continue to prioritize motorists over everyone else. Enforce speed laws and redesign these dangerous intersections to make NYC walkable again!
