I am proud to see students expressing their voices and concerns. They deserve international recognition for their efforts in this fight! We should also be looking into free fares for our working class, further expanding on fair fares!! What do you think?https://twitter.com/alboradanet/status/1185094404245278720 …

Hundreds of students once again occupied metro stations in Chile's capital Santiago, in order to allow users to travel free, after ticket prices rose to over $1, one of the most expensive transportation costs in the region. pic.twitter.com/e76bfOijbz

Let's start with free buses for everyone. Buses serve most in-need neighborhoods.

It’s free to park your car at next to Penn Station. It’s free 24/7 a block from Times Square. Let’s start with charging for car storage on our streets at all times, and dedicate those funds to green modes of transit (not the ferry)

We need affordable fares and trains that run on time & consistently. We ALSO need to keep high rises out of Inwood. What are you doing lately for the working class?

It’s ok for them to protest!! But allowing them to have the rights to do it without interfering other people’s right to use the train to get to their destination. I don’t support allowing anyone to protest inside the train stations. It’s dangerous and at the same time problematic
