That’s a nice idea, but we really should expand Summer Streets to cover more of the city and for more than 3 weekends a year. Mexico City has 35 miles of ciclovías every Sunday year-round. That’s a great example to follow.

@ydanis' idea is good. I'd be happy to participate, but it won't get the numbers of people out that a true expansion of open streets will.

How would they feel about cars doing the same on car only lanes... wait that's the norm isn't it. Time to start sharing road space properly, and yes if promoting other modes (that also makes car driving on less car crowded roads) easier. I'm all for it.
