The mayor announced expansion of CitiBike to 40,000 bikes from 12,000 today back in November. That would triple the current service territory. But no visible planning or outreach in 7.5 months because....?

Maybe the city should stop charging Citi Bike parking fees for setting up docks, and contribute to operating expenses like it does for every other form of transit
